Dr. Peter Douglas

Dr. Peter Douglas was born and raised in small town Iowa, where his father was a dentist. Since a young age, he has always been interested in dentistry, but it was after his time as a camp counselor that he knew working with kids was his passion.

Dr. Douglas completed dental school at the University of Iowa, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Afterwards, he completed a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital, where he also obtained a Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Douglas is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and recently published research on the use of general anesthesia for dental treatment in children.

By creating a laid-back and fun dental environment, Dr. Douglas strives to make children and parents feel at ease. He considers the dentist a teacher who can help children learn how to be excellent patients and give them the tools to maintain healthy teeth! Outside of the clinic, Dr. Douglas and his wife, who is a pediatrician, enjoy skiing, hiking with their dog Lacey, and, most importantly, eating good food!
